Farewell to Retiring RTS Staff

Three beloved teachers retired at the end of the school year. = We wish=20 them well and extend our fond and sincere thanks as they move on. Also = retiring=20 is longtime custodian, Tom Tumielwicz. We also say farewell to Principal = Pati=20 Beaumont who has led the RTS community for 11 years. =

Carol Barbagllo will retire after working 35 years in grades K-5 at RTS. Carol = will=20 enjoy spending time with her husband, Joe and their three beautiful=20 grandchildren. She and Joe will continue volunteering at Dismas House, = the Relay=20 for Life, and St. Peter Church. They hope to travel to Argentina = this fall=20 to visit their foreign exchange student who has been waiting for them = for 22=20 years. No matter where she goes "RTS" will remain in her happy = memories and=20 her heart.

Cheryl McKane=20 retires after 26 years as a reading teacher. She wants to = spend more=20 time with her 93 year old father. She will also be doing lots of sailing = on=20 Lake Champlain.=20 =93My husband Andy is a licensed captain and he plans on making me = his first=20 mate! Daughter Caitlin has asked me to go to Portugal with her in the = fall. My sons Matthew and Patrick = have invited=20 me to Las Vegas to hike in the Sierra Nevadas or go boating on Lake = Mead. I=20 bought my ski pass for next year, and I plan to return to playing=20 golf.=94
