A Short = Story By=20 Lilly Williams, Grade 4

 

 

 

Hi !=20  I=92m Lilly Williams.  I live on a vegetable = farm.  I grow pumpkins in the fall, = beans green=20 and yellow, peas, corn, beets, dill, and more.  A teacher in my school comes = to buy my=20 vegetables.  But, does she = know all=20 of the work that is involved?  = There=20 is plowing, planting, picking, washing, and selling.  I sell flowers that I grow = myself.  It takes time to grow.  You have to be patient when = you live on=20 a farm.  I love = farming.

 

 

Teacher Linda Mullin is the =93teacher=94 mentioned in = Lilly=92s story.  Ms. Mullin says Lilly wrote it = during=20 the homework cafe which she leads after school.
