Green-Up Day was a success this year due to the 30 plus = volunteers that=20 picked up around town and in their neighborhoods. Thank you to all who = participated. In addition the Highway = Department=20 picked up some 75 bags along our busier streets prior to Green-Up.=20

This year=92s paving program has already started. The streets that have been = completed are=20 Chasanna Drive, Sugarwood Hill Road, Atwood Drive, and Cedar = Avenue. Prospect Hill has been = reclaimed and the=20 base has been put down with the topcoat to come later this summer. Blueberry Lane has been = shimmed and the=20 topcoat will be applied later this summer at the same time as Prospect=20 Hill. Driveway aprons = have been=20 partially done and will be completed after the topcoats have been = done. Shoulder work and lawn work = will also be=20 done after the topcoat.

Construction for those roads on next year=92s paving schedule = will be done=20 later this summer. = Daytime road=20 closure in the Barrett Hill area next to the underpass will be necessary = when we=20 change the culvert under the railroad bridge and along Barrett Hill Road = past=20 the church.

Remember, fines are doubled in=20 work=20 zones. Slow=20 Down=20 when=20 entering work areas. Have a safe, fun summer
