Happy 100^th=20 Birthday, Mrs. Billings!

Mrs. Ann Glagola, on behalf of the senior group, would like to = extend=20 birthday best wishes and congratulations to Mrs. Lillian Billings, a = resident of=20 The Gables, on her 100^th=20 birthday in May. Lillian = grew up in=20 Center Rutland, and she is a true =93Townie.=94 A few years back, Mrs. Billings = was=20 presented with the Golden Cane which is given to the oldest resident of = Rutland=20 Town.

A=20 small group of Rutland Town seniors have just enjoyed a trip in the=20 Elders=20 On the Go=20 bus to Woodstock to have lunch at the Senior Center. After socializing = with the=20 Woodstock hosts, our group visited the historical Billings Mansion. As = always,=20 the bus stopped for a short shopping break. It was a nice day out for = the senior=20 group.

Mrs. Glagola reports that an all day bus trip is planned for = August, and=20 seniors from surrounding areas will be invited. For more info on this trip, please contact = Hilda Fish=20 at 773-6947.
