TOWN OF RUTLAND

PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

DECEMBER 16, 2010

MINUTES:

The meeting opened at 7:00 P.M.

Members present: Howard Burgess, Dick Hoenes, Ray Leonard, Andy McKane, Tom Turner and Charles Vajda.

Mr. McKane chaired the meeting in the absence of Mr. Matteson.

Review of the December 2, 2010 Minutes

Mr. Turner motioned to accept the minutes as written. Mr. Burgess seconded the motion. All were in approval.

Zoning

Members reported that no hard copies of the 2008 Zoning Document have yet been received.

Meetings and Reimbursement

A reminder was given to turn in time sheets for reimbursement at least quarterly. This means the second quarter is due by the end of the month.

Town Lights

The initiative to turn off several of the Town's street lights was briefly discussed. Mr. Hoenes felt this was a safety hazard. Mr. McKane said that if the Town went to LED lights, which are less expensive to operate, then the Town should really be able to have more for less.

Mr. Burgess motioned to end the meeting. Mr. Hoenes seconded the motion. All were in approval. The meeting ended at 7:30 P.M.
