Meeting open at 7:00 PM

Commissioners Present:

Charles Vajda, Andrew McKane, William Matteson and Howard Burgess

Mr. Tim Billings, representing Ms. Trudy Billings, met with the Commissioners regarding a proposed two lot subdivision. Mr. Billings presented a map and answered questions raised by the Commissioners.

Mr. Matteson cited the fact the subdivision has already received State approval.

Mr. Billings told the Commissioners his mother proposed to subdivided her land into two parcels. He said one parcel would be 3.74 + or – acres and the other parcel would be 16.58 + or – acres.

Mr. Billings said his mother home is on the 3.74 acre parcel and that she does not have any plans for the 16.58 parcel. Mr. Matteson said he does not see any problem with the proposed subdivision.

The Commissioners reviewed the final subdivision checklist form. Mr. McKane moved to approve the sketch plan as submitted. Mr. Burgess made a second to the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

The Commission scheduled the final two lot subdivision hearing for September 20, 2012 at 7:00 P.M.

The Commission received the draft amendments to the West Rutland Town Plan.

Mr. Matteson circulated the Helio Sage Act 248 application for their Seward Road and the draft Clarendon Airport Overlay District for review.

Mr. Matteson asked Mr. Zingale to assemble a list of non compliant Act 250 properties in Town.

Mr. Matteson questioned Mr. Zingale regarding the Select Board's review of the proposed zoning regulations. Mr. Zinagle said that from what he understands the Select Board is making major changes to the proposed regulations. He said major changes would require the Commission to review the changes and then hold a public hearing.

The matter was discussed further. No action was taken. Mr. McKane moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Vajda made a second to the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
