And that’s just the first round….\nWe want to hear from you about how to spend this money to help our community recover from the COVID-91 pandemic.\nAs with any federal program\, there are restrictions. We can use the money for public health\, COVID-19 mitigation and protection\, premium pay for eligible essential workers\, necessary water\, sewer and broadband projects\, recapture of lost revenues\, and much more. ARPA fund recipients can include households\, small businesses\, nonprofits and your local government. SUMMARY:Rutland Town Seniors Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:Hello Rutland Town Seniors! \nAt long last we are ready to get back together! We have scheduled a lunch for 11:30 on June 22\, at Sugar and Spice. \nAs in the past\, we will need a headcount for this event. We need the number of attendees no later than the afternoon of June 15. A firm number needs to be provided to the restaurant\, so they can plan for ordering everything that goes into our presence. \nWe will be ordering off the menu as we did last summer and the Seniors’ Treasury will pay the tab for this with no co-pay. Much has been endured during the last year and we want to be sure everyone gets a chance to get out\, visit\, eat a lunch\, visit some more and conduct a minimum of business related to our group. Looking forward to a great day both weather related and otherwise. \nEarlier this spring\, there were conversations with Mike Rowe from the Rec Dept. Our July lunch is being planned for Northwood; the date has not been set but we will be working on that in the coming days and weeks. \nPlease stay healthy and vigilant even though we are heading into a time of long awaited recovery\, it always pays best to be careful no matter what. \nWill be waiting to hear from you. \nBest\, \nJim Hall\, V/P & Treasurer\, RT Seniors
