SUMMARY:Candidate Forum
DESCRIPTION:As a community service project\, the Wallingford Memorial Rotary Club will be sponsoring a Candidate Forum to allow voters to hear from candidates running for State Representative for Rutland-2\, the district representing Wallingford\, Clarendon\, West Rutland and parts of Rutland Town. The four candidates are Rep. Thomas Burditt\, Ken Fredette\, Rep. Arthur Peterson and David Potter. At this time we plan to hold the Forum in person at Wallingford Town Hall\, 75 School Street\, Wallingford\, on Tuesday\, October 4 from 7:00-9:00 PM. For the safety of our community\, mask wearing is encouraged. The Forum will also be recorded by PEG-TV for those who are unable to attend. Questions to the candidates must be submitted prior to the Forum via email (townadmin@wallingfordvt.com) or in person to Sandi Switzer at Town Hall. The deadline for submission of questions is 4:00 PM on Tuesday\, September 27\, one week ahead of the Forum. Similar questions will be combined\, and all questions will be asked of the candidates by the Moderator.
