COMMISSION
MINUTES
11-3-11
Commissioners Present:
Howard Burgess, Charles
Vajda, Raymond Leonard, Andrew McKane, Jerry Stearns and William Matteson
Mr. McKane moved to approve
the 10-20-11 minutes. Mr. Vajda made a second to the motion. The motion passed
unanimously.
Mr. Matteson welcomed the
individuals in attendance for a discussion pertaining to a new proposed service
road for the south end of town. Mr. Matteson cited the fact the Town has
discussed the proposed road with Regional Planning and State officials.
He said the Town has
stressed the fact the service road would alleviate some of the traffic on US RT
7 and also enhance the accessibilities to some of the properties located off
the proposed new service road. Mr. Matteson cited the fact that it is very
difficult to exit Ranbury Road.
He said the proposed new
service road would extend from the Cold River Road & US RT 7 intersection
down to Farrell Road. Mr. Matteson said the road would only happen if the
property owners want the new road.
Mr. Matteson said the
commission is looking for input from those in attendance.

motion passed unanimously.
