TOWN OF RUTLAND SELECTBOARD SPECIAL MEETING

SEPTEMBER 20th, 2022
The meeting opened at 1:00 P.M.
- Board members present Don Chioffi, Joe Denardo, Mary Ashcroft, Sharon Russell, and Kurt Hathaway
- Also present Town Police Chief Ed Dumas and Town Attorney Kevin Brown
The meeting opened with the pledge of allegiance.
Selectwoman Ashcroft moved to enter executive session to discuss pending litigation with the Town Attorney and the Town Police Chief attending and, time permitting, to discuss a personnel matter. Selectwoman Russell seconded the motion. The Board entered executive session at 1:02 PM.
Upon leaving executive session at 2:20 PM Selectwoman Ashcroft moved to authorize the Town Attorney to continue negotiations with the owners of the Cortina Inn and their attorney as per discussions in executive session. Selectwoman Russell seconded the motion. The motion passed 4 – 0.
Selectman Hathaway moved to adjourn Selectwoman Russell seconded the motion. The meeting adjourned at 2:21 PM.
