The Town of Rutland, Vermont is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 20 Years Old
Must be a US Citizen
Must Possess a valid driver’s license
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Have no felony convictions
SALARY:
Entry level patrol salary range is from $25.00 to $27.88 an hour, depending on experience and Vermont Certification level. This salary range will change on July 1,2026 and be between $30.00 to $34.00 an hour depending on experience and Vermont Certification level.
