RUTLAND TOWN SELECT BOARD

HIGHWAY COMMITTEE MEETING

TUESDAY JUNE 8^th, 2021

The Highway Committee of the Rutland Town Select Board met at 9:00 AM on Tuesday June 8th at the Rutland Town Municipal Town Hall. Present was Board Clerk Joe Denardo, Town Road Commissioner Byron Hathaway. There was a conference call line with a publicly accessible and warned phone number in use.

1. The committee reviewed the proposals submitted from the Route 7 North scoping study. Firms submitting proposals were VHB, Lamoureux and Dickinson, Dufresne Group, Dubois and King, and MSK Engineers
   1. Each proposal was evaluated and scored by the members present using the process outlined in the request for proposal document.
   2. The costs submitted by each firm were:
      1. VHB – $39,428
      2. Lamoureux and Dickinson – $24,553
      3. Dufresne Group – $35,000
      4. Dubois and King – $39,957
      5. MSK Engineers – $41,332

1. After comparing the evaluations, the committee agreed to recommend the Dufresne Group as the best option based on score results and costs submitted.

There being no other business, the meeting adjourned at 11:10AM.
