RUTLAND TOWN SELECT BOARD COMMITTEE MEETING

BUILDING / TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE

WEDNESDAY MAY 10^th, 2023

The Building / Technology Committee of the Rutland Town Select Board met at 9:00 AM on Wednesday May 10^th, 2023, at the Municipal Town Hall. Present was Select Board Chair Mary Ashcroft, Select Board Clerk Joe Denardo, Select Board Member Kurt Hathaway, Town Administrator Bill Sweet, and Ed Clark from NBF Architects.

1. Discussed the remodel project of the downstairs at Town Hall.
   1. The committee looked around all of the areas of the downstairs and discussed the improvements that could be made.
   2. Renovating the entire downstairs over time is the goal.
   3. Upgrading the electrical distribution system, adding a new secure room for storage in front of the existing vault, installing a new kitchenette, updating the large meeting room space, creating a new smaller auxiliary meeting room, adding bathrooms back in, removing an old unused staircase, and more was discussed.
   4. The first step would be to have the entire space surveyed to measure and draw the existing space.

The meeting adjourned at 10:00 AM.
