Application deadline: July 1st, 2021. The Town of Rutland, Vermont, is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. A Police Officer has the responsibility and duty to safeguard life and property through legal and ethical enforcement of State / Federal law and Town Ordinances, to respond to and take action in emergency situations, to competently investigate crimes and pursue offenders, to diligently maintain order and to address quality of life issues with respect for all persons.
