Job Posting: Part-Time Maintenance Worker – Dewey Field
Rutland Town Recreation is seeking a part-time Maintenance Worker to support operations at Dewey Field. The job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Position Details
- Hours: 10–15 hours per week
- Season: April 7, 2026 – October 31, 2026
Job Responsibilities
The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for the general upkeep and appearance of Dewey Field, including:
- Mowing park grounds as needed
- Weed-whacking and trimming
- Maintaining and lining the baseball field for games
- Trash and debris removal
- Maintaining all playing surfaces, including basketball and tennis courts
- Playground maintenance and general site upkeep
Qualifications
Applicants must be able to safely operate maintenance equipment, including:
- Ride-on mower
- Push mower
- String trimmer
- Other maintenance-related tools and machinery
