RUTLAND TOWN SELECTBOARD COMMITTEE MEETING
HIGHWAY COMMITTEE
MONDAY DECEMBER 13th, 2021
The Highway Committee of the Rutland Town Selectboard met at 9:00 AM on Monday December 13th, 2021, at the Rutland Town Municipal Town Hall. Present was Board Clerk Joe Denardo, Board Member Sharon Russell, Board Member Don Chioffi, Board Member John Paul Faignant, Town Road Crew Member Walter Tripp, Town Road Crew Member Jason Bathalon, and Administrative Assistant Bill Sweet. There was a conference call line with a publicly accessible and warned phone number in use.
- Selectman Faignant moved to go into executive session to discuss personnel matter. Selectwoman Russell seconded the motion. The motion passed 4-0. The committee entered executive session at 9:02 AM. The committee came out of executive session at 9:37 AM with no action to be taken.
- Discussed the winter plow contractor process. The exact amounts paid to the contractors are not broken out. Discussed separating the lines out as part of the budget planning process. Discussed having the auditing firm who does the town audit do a review of the Highway Budget and give recommendations.
- Discussed implementing an employee evaluation / performance review system. No decision was made.
There being no other business the meeting adjourned at 10:05 AM
