Planning Commission Minutes 10-6-2022
TOWN OF RUTLAND PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING MINUTES
DATE: October 6th, 2022
LOCATION: Town Hall and a publicly accessible conference line
OPEN MEETING 6:30 P.M.
Commission Members Present: Vice Chair Dana Peterson, Jerry Stearns, Howard Burgess, and Norman Cohen. All members are voting members for this meeting.
Members of the Public Present: None
Approval of the Agenda:
Mr. Stearns moved to approve the agenda. Mr. Burgess seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
New Business: Next Steps with the Reformatted Subdivision Ordinance
- Draft copies of the ordinance were reviewed. It included wording which needs to be updated, sections and citations which should be verified and sections which need to be discussed further.
- There are several sections which require discussion with a larger group of the Commission on possible changes.
- After discussion on several topics, suggested changes will be highlighted in a new color and will be discussed at a future meeting.
Announcements
A letter was received from the developer for the proposed sub-division off Hawley Lane. They are waiting for state permits to be approved so they can move forward.
Budget planning will begin soon. Budget discussions should be held at the next meeting.
Approval of Minutes September 15th, 2022:
Mr. Cohen moved to accept the minutes. Mr. Stearns seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Adjournment:
Mr. Stearns moved to adjourn. Mr. Burgess seconded the motion. The meeting adjourned at 7:27 PM.
