RUTLAND TOWN SELECTBOARD COMMITTEE MEETING
NEW PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING COMMITTEE
TUESDAY DECEMBER 14TH, 2021
The New Public Safety Building Committee of the Rutland Town Selectboard met at 5:00 PM on Tuesday December 14th at the Rutland Town Municipal Town Hall. Present was Board Chair Mary Ashcroft, Board Member John Paul Faignant, Board Member Don Chioffi, Board Member Sharon Russell, Town Fire Chief Chris Clark, Town Police Chief Ed Dumas, Town Assistant Fire Chief Larry Dellveneri, Town Assistant Fire Chief Mike Carlson, Town Deputy Police Chief Ted Washburn, Frank Cioffi and Town Administrative Assistant Bill Sweet.
- Selectman Faignant shared with the committee revisions to the initial drawing of the proposed building.
- There may be an agreement with an adjacent landowner which would allow a modification to the building design. A meeting with them is planned soon.
- Revised drawings with measurements should be available from the architect by December 21st.
- Discussed ensuring there will be adequate signage for the public to know where and how to access the Police Department.
- Discussed options for this project to be brought to the residents.
