Road Name and Road Location Ordinance Amendment Notice 5-21-2024
SUMMARY AMENDMENT TO THE LIST OF PUBLIC AND NONPUBLIC ROADS OF THE TOWN OF RUTLAND, §181-27(B) – ATTACHMENT A.
The Town of Rutland Select Board voted unanimously on May 21st, 2024, to amend the Attachment A list of public and nonpublic roads attached to and incorporated into the Town of Rutland Road Name and Road Location Addressing Ordinance pursuant to §181-27(B). Specifically, the Select Board voted to amend Attachment A include “Partridge Place” as nonpublic road in the Town of Rutland.
Partridge Place will be located at the top of Crestway Drive.

Town Administrator, Bill Sweet at 181 Business Route 4, Center Rutland, VT 05736, telephone number 802-773-2528 is available to answer any questions concerning the amendment of Attachment A list of public and nonpublic roads of the Town of Rutland.
Any resident of the Town of Rutland has the right pursuant to 24 V.SA. §1973 to petition for a vote on the question of disapproving the amendment of the Attachment A list of public and nonpublic roads to add Partridge Place as a nonpublic road. In accordance with 24 V.S.A. §1973 (b), the petition must be signed by not less than five percent (5%) .of the qualified voters of the municipality and presented to the Select Board or Clerk of the Town of Rutland within 44 days following the adoption of the Ordinance amendment by the Select Board on May 21st, 2024.
