TOWN OF RUTLAND SELECTBOARD OPEN MEETING

JANUARY 23rd, 2023
Meeting opened at 8:35 P.M.
- Board members present Don Chioffi, Joe Denardo, Mary Ashcroft, Sharon Russell, and Kurt Hathaway
The Board discussed the Rec budget presented at the pre-town meeting. The amount on the total budget sheets and the budget details sheet did not match. This was due to income not being included in the individual total line. Selectwoman Ashcroft moved to have all the items checked to ensure correct numbers were placed in the appropriate places. Selectwoman Russell seconded the motion. The motion passed 4 – 0.
Discussed article 18 on the draft ballot sheets. This would allocate money for a future dispatch center. Based on the advice from Town Counsel, Selectman Denardo moved to eliminate this ballot item. Selectman Hathaway seconded the motion. The motion passed 3 – 1 with Selectwoman Ashcroft voting against the motion.
Selectwoman Ashcroft moved to approve and sign the warning as amended. Selectwoman Russell seconded the motion. The motion passed 4 – 0.
Selectman Hathaway moved to adjourn. Selectwoman Russell seconded the motion. The motion passed 4 – 0. The meeting adjourned at 8:39 PM.
