Job Description
A Police Officer has the responsibility and duty to safeguard life and property through legal and ethical enforcement of State / Federal law and Town Ordinances, to respond to and take action in emergency situations, to competently investigate crimes and pursue offenders, to diligently maintain order and to address quality of life issues with respect for all persons.

Recruiting period opens starting at 4:00pm on December 20th, 2023, and closes at 5:00pm on January 19th, 2024. Applications post marked prior to the January 19th, 2024, deadline will be honored; applications received after the January 19th, 2024, deadline will not be accepted.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be 20 Years Old
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have no felony convictions
Salary
Entry level position’s start at $25.00 an hour.
