RUTLAND TOWN SELECT BOARD COMMITTEE MEETING

TOWN WIDE CELEBRATION COMMITTEE

TUESDAY JULY 30^th,2024

The Town Wide Celebration Committee of the Rutland Town Select Board met at 5:00 PM on Tuesday July 30^th, 2024, at the Municipal Town Hall. Present was Select Board Member Sharon Russell, Select Board Member Kurt Hathaway, Town Rec Director Mike Rowe, and Town Administrator Bill Sweet.

The Committee discussed plans for the August 24^th event.

1. Food has been ordered and should be ready for pickup on Thursday or Friday before the event.
2. Propane is being donated from Proctor Gas and tanks will be ready for pickup as well.
3. Water will need to be purchased.
4. Other displays and participants are ready.
5. Discussed plans for fireworks that evening. A lot of people are expected since it is the only one around. There is no rain date.

 

The meeting adjourned at 5:30 PM.
