TOWN OF RUTLAND PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING MINUTES
DATE: July 10th, 2025
LOCATION: Town Hall and a publicly accessible conference line
OPEN MEETING 6:30 P.M.
Commission Members Present: Chair Barbara Pulling, Howard Burgess, Sherman Hunter, Jerry Stearns, and Demetrio Gagnon. All members are voting members for this meeting.
Members of the Public Present: None
Approval of the Agenda:
Mr. Hunter moved to approve the agenda. Mr. Stearns seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Old Business: Report on meeting with the Selectboard and the Town Attorney
- The recommendation was to enact a new subdivision bylaw.
- A bylaw was recommended due to the ability to enforce it and the adoption process.
- A more in depth discussion will be had when a large group of members is present.
Announcements
- Mike Rowe, and some Selectboard members, may attend the next meeting to discuss the Pocket Park project.
- The Town Wide Celebration is August 23rd at Northwood Park from 10AM to 2PM.

A quorum of members from this meeting are not present tonight.
Approval of Minutes May 29th, 2025:
Mr. Stearns moved to approve. Mr. Hunter seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Approval of Minutes June 19th, 2025:
A quorum of members from this meeting are not present tonight.

Mr. Hunter moved to adjourn. Mr. Burgess seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 PM.
