RUTLAND TOWN SELECTBOARD COMMITTEE MEETING
LITIGATION COMMITTEE
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 17th, 2022
The Litigation Committee of the Rutland Town Selectboard met at 1:00PM on Wednesday August 17th, 2022, at the Municipal Town Hall. Present was Selectboard Chairman Don Chioffi, Board Member Sharon Russell, Town Attorney Kevin Brown, Cortina Inn Owner Anil Sachdev, and Attorney Philip Zalinger representing Mr. Sachdev.
The committee met to discuss the issues being experienced at the Cortina Inn and to discuss a possible settlement.
Selectwoman Russell moved to enter executive session for the purposes of settlement negotiation. Chairman Chioffi seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting entered executive session at 1:05PM.
Upon leaving executive session with no action being taken, Selectwoman Russell moved to adjourn. Chairman Chioffi seconded the motion. The meeting adjourned at 3:00 PM.
