RUTLAND TOWN SELECT BOARD COMMITTEE MEETING

PERSONNEL COMMITTEE

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 25th, 2023

The Personnel Committee of the Rutland Town Select Board met at 4:00 PM on Wednesday October 25th, 2023, at the Municipal Town Hall. Present was Select Board Chair Mary Ashcroft, Select Board Member Matt Getty, and Teresa Miele of HR Acquired.

The Select Board has hired Teresa to consult on changes to our existing personnel policy.

  1. Discussed updates being made to the new policy.
  2. Teresa has met with Kari Clark, Susan McGee, Dave Sears, Bill Sweet, Ed Dumas, Lyn Gallipo, Mike Rowe, Chris Clark, and reps from VLCT and NEMRC.
  3. A lot of progress on updates has been made based on these discussions.
  4. There are 5 hours left in the budget planned to do all the work.
  5. The feedback from department heads has been very positive.
  6. The committee met in executive session to discuss employee specific payroll topics.

The meeting adjourned at 6:06 PM.
