RUTLAND TOWN SELECT BOARD
CELEBRATION COMMITTEE MEETING
TUESDAY APRIL 30TH, 2019
The Celebration Committee of the Rutland Town Select Board met at 4:30 PM on Tuesday April 30th at the Municipal Town Hall. Present was Board Chair Josh Terenzini, Board member John Paul Faignant, Board member Sharon Russell, Town Road Commissioner Byron Hathaway, Town Rec Director Mike Rowe and Administrative Assistant Bill Sweet.
The committee met to discuss plans for the 2019 Town Wide Celebration. It is planned for Saturday July 6th starting at 11AM.
Reviewed and discussed all the planned events and outlines a schedule. Identified various organizations which are confirmed, and those which still need to be contacted.

Swim up movie at night – approx. 9PM

Rutland County Sheriff Department for their rollover demo car
Vermont State Police for a K9, Rutland City PD also or an alternate
Rutland County Humane Society to setup an adoption event
Fire Safety Trailer
Josh will write a letter requesting donations or sponsorships from local businesses.
Mike Rowe will take care of securing a donation of bottled water from Big Lots.
Matt Voity will be asked to contact Killington Fire to use the grill again, and to ask Keyser Energy to donate propane.
Bill will find out if Rick Reddington needs a tent.
There being no other business the meeting adjourned at 4:55 PM
