Northwood Park / Dewey Field
Our parks at Dewey Field and Northwood Park are open year round for hiking, biking, tennis, basketball and disc golf.
Reminder, dogs must be under their owner's control, cleaned up after, and are prohibited from athletic fields.
Disc Golf
Our new disc golf course is up and ready to go! Come on over to Northwood Park and give it a try!
Swim Lessons
Visit the pool on June 5th and 6th to purchase a pool pass and sign up for swim lessons.
Northwood Pool swim lessons start June 17th.
Pool Season Passes
Northwood Pool Season Pass sign up starts the first week of June.
Rec Sports Programs
Rutland Town Recreation Participation Policy: Non-residents must have permission before registering. Please contact Mike Rowe, Rutland Town Recreation Director ( email or call 802-779-2518) for permission to play for Rutland Town. The agreement between towns and schools is the following for participation in recreation programs: 1) If your school offers the program then you must play for your school. 2) If your school does not offer the program you then play for your town. 3) If your town does not offer the program you may ask to join another town's program provided they have room and you have permission from both program directors.
